For the last eleven years Michaelangelo’s Pizzeria has been a mainstay and familiar sight on Church Street and Elliston to those who work downtown and use Church Street on their way home. Over these years we have developed a loyal customer base either from those who choose to join us for our noon buffet, to those who choose to dine-in our 50+ seat dining area, or to those who prefer home delivery, which includes being a significant contributor to Vanderbilt’s “Taste of Nashville” meal program.
Our growth would not have been possible without successful advertising touting the quality of our pizzas. Most advertising in the pizza business comes from “slick” brochure menu ads which include “coupon specials” and oftentimes misleading visuals. The “independents” and “chains” continuously attempt to compete against each other with brochure menus that are not significantly different in content or price.
As an “independent” we accept the fact that we’ll never be in a position to stay up with the “chains” in advertising, but Michaelangelo’s brochure is as “cool” as any other independent competitors. In an effort to break out of the pack, our new and creative “Loyalty Club” will give our members an opportunity to enjoy Nashville’s best gourmet pizzas at better than most competitors coupons or advertised cost, but without coupons, and over a longer period of time.
Single Pizza Orders
Members receive an automatic 20% discount on all medium, large, or extra large pizza order. For example, $16.99 extra large meat lovers’ pizza would be $13.59.
Two Pizza Orders
The first pizza is charged full menu price less 20%, while the 2nd pizza of equal or lesser value is charged accordingly: $6 for a medium, $7 for a large and $8 for an extra large.
Thus, a $16.99 extra large meat lover’s pizza discounted 20% or $13.59, along with another extra large meat lover’s pizza for $8 would cost $21.59, or a savings of $12.39.
Limitations
There is no limit as to how often or how many pizzas you may order. If for instance you want to order ten pizzas, you would order five at the menu cost, discounted 20% each, and the other five would be charged as outlined in the “Two Pizza Orders” above; either $6 for medium, $7 for large, or $8 for extra large, based on equal or less value of the first pizzas.
Membership
Your cost to join is a nominal semi-annual fee of $29.99 --“But Wait!” We’re prepared to put our money where our mouth is by offering to pay for two large pizzas of your choice on us when you become a member. Thus, membership is virtually free. You may order the two pizzas at one time or two different times.
Because this is a new program, we don’t want to put the cart before the horse by putting ourselves in a position where service becomes less than what our current customers are accustomed to. We’ll continue to monitor any increase in business so that you will not recognize any change in our product or service, before having to put a lid on the offering. Membership is therefore limited, so if interested, we encourage you to not delay and take advantage of this outstanding offer today because it may not be available tomorrow.
